Blogger Interactive is in Full Force

Those of you who follow Becca from 25toFly and Jen from Sips of Jen and Tonic know that there has been some serious buzz about a blogger meetup going on for the past few months. The event was proposed, locations and dates were thrown out, and a vote was taken. Excitement ensued.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, the idea for an event like this came about after we kept seeing blog posts detailing meet ups between individual bloggers. That got us to wondering if there was a way to get all of our favorite people in the same place at the same time. It was then we decided to create a larger event to help more bloggers connect beyond their URLs.

In honor of the awesomeness of this event, we decided to give Blogger Summit (formerly Blogger Meetup) a major makeover, and are excited to announce the launch of the official Blogger Interactive site!

We created this space to house all information and updates regarding our first annual event in Austin, TX this October 25-27th. This is where attendees and supporters can come to keep updated on the who, what, when, where, and how of the big weekend. We also want to use this space to showcase our lovely participants; get acquainted through our forums, and give us suggestions and feedback on what you want to see at Blogger Interactive 2013 and future Blogger Interactive events.

This event is completely open to all bloggers, prospective bloggers, and friends and supporters of bloggers everywhere. Our attendee list is growing, but there is no cut off for the number of people who can attend. Just be sure to RSVP through our official E-vite so that we have an estimate of the number of people who plan on hanging out with us in Austin.

Don’t forget to:

  • Follow this blog (either through WordPress or by e-mail)
  • Fan us on Facebook
  • Follow us on Twitter
  • Show your support by grabbing the Blogger Interactive badge from the sidebar, and sharing it on your site

Check out our Event Details page for information and updates on lodging suggestions, and tentative itinerary plans. Feel free to leave comments or shoot us an e-mail through our Contact page for questions and/or suggestions, or if you are interested in getting involved as an official sponsor of Blogger Interactive.

Welcome again, and thanks for helping us make this the go-to blog event this year. We can’t wait to meet all of you!

    • Rohan, get your readers to start a coin jar fund for you! We’d love to see you there this year of course, but you can definitely bet on future BI plans that will be more accessible to more bloggers!
